Did you know stick pipe lessens risk at the well by using a stronger string? Stick pipe’s constant rotation minimizes the risks of generating flat spots and fatigue-induced damage to the pipe wall.

Coil fatigue, which can cause pinhole leaks and complete parting of the tubing string, becomes more likely in longer laterals because the tubing string cannot be rotated as it moves through the well casing and can cause a multitude of issues downhole. The effects of this can add days or weeks to the cycle time at the well.
