Axis Energy Services was pleased to be an event title sponsor at the 4^th Annual Austin AADE/SPE Golf Blowout at Falconhead Golf Club last week. It was a great event with a great turnout and our two teams in attendance had a blast.

Axis is proud to support a fundraising event like this one. The event raises money that directly helps fund scholarships for students in our industry through two organizations: the American Association of Drilling Engineers – Central Texas Chapter and the Society of Petroleum Engineers – Balcones Section. This year, 32 students are on scholarship and the program plans on expanding in 2022.

Robert Chavez, Axis Director of Sales for South and Central Texas, is the current AADE Central Texas Chapter President, and says the organizations also plan to help the local food banks (San Antonio/Austin) and other local charities as part of their Good Ambassador Program.

Congratulations to both organizations on a successful event. We enjoyed the opportunity to gather with colleagues for some fun.
