Axis Energy Services is pleased to announce William (Will) Petter has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Petter has been involved in the development and growth of Axis and its predecessor companies for some time, and this new role will allow him to continue that work.

All of the accounting groups within Axis will report directly to Mr. Petter. He will continue to lead our financial planning and reporting processes, and will also oversee our insurance, banking and benefits programs as we continue the integration of the company.

Mr. Petter’s professional history includes five years with Duff & Phelps’ Energy Investment Banking Group, where he provided merger and acquisition, private placement and bankruptcy advisory for middle-market oil and gas firms. Previously, he spent two years as an Audit Analyst with Ernst & Young.

Mr. Petter received a Master of Accountancy from the University of Southern California and a Master of Finance and Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
